Brendan Rodgers Happier Than Ever At Celtic After Securing Title
Brendan Rodgers declared he had never ever been better at Celtic after leading the team to a fourth consecutive title.
The Hoops clinched a 13th William Hill Premiership crown in 14 seasons with a 5-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice.
It was an 11th prize for Rodgers during his 2 spells as Celtic employer and he can finish his third treble if his side beat Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup last.
The 52-year-old appears to have restored his credibility with the large bulk of Celtic fans after leaving mid-season for Leicester in 2019 and he once again restated he is devoted to serving his three-year agreement.
Rodgers concurred it was reasonable to say he is better than ever in his task and included: "It's been intriguing the last few months, people choosing where I was expected to be going and I wasn't happy.

"I said 150, 200 percent I'll be here for sure next season since we wish to build again, we wish to grow.
"But what I'll likewise state, there's extremely, really couple of people that understand me and there's even less understand me.
"I don't have an agent, so I don't have a representative spinning a story for me or anything like that. So if there's a heading out there, I am informing you, it's a guess.
"But absolutely, I am so, so delighted.
"I came back since of the professional difficulty of Celtic, understanding the pressures. My emotional attachment to the club plainly has me here instead of somewhere else. And simply the possibility to be the very best manager at Celtic that I can potentially be. And days like this make it truly special."
Rodgers included: "I said minimum I would be here three years.
"The huge thing with Celtic, it's about having the energy. That's the big thing, and there's great deals of other things obviously. As any manager, you need to feel desired, you need to feel valued. You need to feel that you can develop a team, you can develop a club.
"So there's great deals of things that enter it, however I definitely know that we desire to finish better than we did in 2015. And then I'll enter into next year incredibly starving to beat this year, whatever we end up doing."
Celtic faced some early pressure before Ryan Strain's 30 own goal began a flurry of goals either side of half-time with Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah both hitting doubles to seal the title.
"I understand there was a wee bit of chat around, tedious I believe the word was of somebody, however it's not laborious for me, for the football club," he said.
"If we land at 15 points ahead with fives games left and a plus-42 goal distinction ahead of our closest competitor, I'll inform you what, that's not tedious, that's professionalism at its greatest level and concentration and efficiencies."
It was not all favorable for Celtic. Jota went off with a knee injury in the first half and was hobbling severely with his leg greatly braced during the celebrations.
"The medical guys are taking a look at whether his meniscus is a bit aching," Rodgers stated. "We'll simply need to assess that. They put it in the brace to protect it, however we'll see in the next couple of days."
Dundee United supervisor Jim Goodwin complained the turning point.
"It sounds strange to sit here and state for the opening half an hour I believed we were extremely good, the shape of the group was good and we were aggressive with the press, forced Celtic into playing a lot longer than they would normally have liked," he stated.
"But the very first objective was a real begin the teeth given it's a bit of misery.
"The 2nd one originates from a promising attack that we had, a tame effort on objective, but then within 5 or 6 seconds, with the pace of Celtic on the counter attack, the ball winds up in the back of your web."
